Before

Things

didn't look so good at first for Charlie as you can see

from the picture on the left taken when he first came.

With ribs outlined by starvation and no teeth, this was

Charlie Russell when he arrived. Charlie was rescued by

the Sanctuary instead of being left to die.

After

But now we all look

back and are thankful that he is as healthy as they come

thanks to a special diet prepared for him twice a day!

And by the way, Charlie is 31 years young.
