Montana Large Animal Sanctuary

& Rescue

The

Daily Routine

Hi,

my name is Amigo and if you've never visited the Montana Large

Animal Sanctuary & Rescue, then you probably have no idea

what a day has in store! Sanctuary life is in truth a lifestyle

whereby some

sanctuary staff are on duty 24/7- 365 days per year.

Our

day begins at 6 a.m. each and every morning to feed the 1200+

animal residents in our care. Some animal residents require 'special'

feeding programs due to temporary or chronic conditions.

The day always starts and ends with Love. The caregivers are great

and spend one on one time with all of us. Here are a few

more pictures of some friends of mine.

Haley,

the 8 year old thoroughbred on the left, has a weakened constitution

due to a healed fracture in his right front foot.

Harold,

on the right, is a 19 year old shire who like Charlie Russell

came in great need of food.
